CHAMPS PTC

First Street School is lucky to have an active and robust "CHAMPS" team.  C.H.A.M.P.S. (also known as PTC) stands for "Committed to Honoring and Motivating Parents and Students"  The officers and interested staff members meet monthly, with parent informational meetings following.  Please join us!

PTC has supported the school with campus beautification and student comfort projects like the addition of addition of shade structures under which students may enjoy their lunches outdoors when weather permits; a new intermediate play structure; re-barking our campus; installing a decomposed granite evacuation path; building benches in front of school; and much more!  Other activities include the funding of reading Incentive programs, wherein students who have earned points in reading books outside of school hours can purchase small rewards.  PTC also works to help coordinate events throughout the school year to invigorate the students and community, like the upcoming Glow Dance, winter Fun Run; and spring VIP Dance.  Volunteers are currently wanted!  Show your First Street School spirit; come volunteer for the Fall Festival, or another PTC activity.  One person can make a difference!
